1. The service
Siel Labs (Siel) provides a platform for sending text messages and verification codes through an API, an SMPP server and a web console, with delivery reporting, campaign tools and billing. We route messages through mobile operators and wholesale partners; we do not control their networks and do not guarantee that any message will be delivered.
2. Your account
You must give accurate details about your company when you sign up and keep them current. You are responsible for everything sent with your API keys, SMPP logins and console users, and for keeping them secret. Tell us at once if you think a key or login has been exposed.
New accounts may be reviewed before they can send to numbers other than their own verified test numbers. We may refuse or close an account that does not meet our policies.
3. Acceptable use
You may send only to people who have agreed to receive your messages, and only content that is lawful in the sender's and the recipient's country. The spam policy is part of these terms. Sender IDs must identify you truthfully. We may block traffic, suspend sending or close the account for messages that break the law, impersonate others, carry malware, or generate complaints from recipients or operators.
4. Prices and payment
Services are prepaid unless we agree a credit limit in writing. Each message part is charged when it is accepted; parts an operator never accepted are refunded. Prices are those published on the pricing page or agreed with you, and increases take effect on the date shown there. Credits are not refundable except where the law requires it. Taxes charged by our payment provider are added at checkout.
5. Sender ID registration
Some operators require registration of alphanumeric senders and charge a fee for it. Where a fee applies you see it before you agree, and it is charged once when the sender is approved for that country. Registration fees are not refundable.
6. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available at all times, with planned maintenance announced in advance. Support is by email and the console chat. Specific service levels apply only where agreed in a separate document.
7. Data
How we handle personal data, including message content and recipient numbers, is described in the privacy policy. Where you send personal data of your customers, you are the controller and we process it on your instructions to provide the service.
8. Liability
Our liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or losses caused by operators, partners or networks outside our control, to the extent the law allows.
9. Changes and ending the agreement
We may change these terms with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the console. You may close your account at any time; unused prepaid credits remain available until then. We may suspend or end the service for breach of these terms, with notice where practical.
