The problem
A receipt is a claim, not a fact
Every part of a message comes back with a receipt from the network that carried it. On some grey routes that receipt says delivered whatever happened. Passed on as the truth, it hides lost codes behind a perfect delivery rate.
So we do not take receipts on trust. We check our routes against what real phones receive, and watch every receipt on live traffic.
What we do
Three habits that keep routes honest
Test with real phones
Phones with local SIMs in the countries we send to receive test messages over our routes, and tell us what really arrived.
Watch live traffic
Receipts on every route are watched as they come in. Patterns that real networks do not produce stand out quickly.
Act on it
Quality routing counts only receipts we trust, and our operations team is alerted to move traffic when a route slips.
A delivery rate is only
worth something when
the receipts behind it
are true.
What you see
Numbers you can plan on
The results show up where you work: in your delivery rate, in the time messages take to reach the phone, and on your price list for every destination.
- Direct where it matters. Where we connect to the operator directly your message takes one hop; elsewhere it goes over wholesale partners we keep under the same watch.
- A receipt for every part, with the operator's own message ID, in the console and the API.
- Delivery rate and speed per destination, before you send.
